my fantastic pal kath died on 8th march... 2 weeks before my g/daughter was born. she was 51,l had known her for the last 40 years. we went to school together. she phoned me just before christmas 2004 to tell me she had breast cancer. she had a masectomy in june 2005. we all hoped she would be cleared. but it wasnt meant to be. she finally lost the battle in march 2007. l will miss her very much, and she is always in my mind. she wasnt just a friend. she was a rock!. brilliant person to know. l will always feel honered just to have been in her "friends" list. l miss her every day.xxxxx
